Enjoy excellent small harbor services, dining, and provisioning. Our somewhat rickety but cleanly swept general store has steaming coffee and hot chocolate, a selection of pastries, cheeses, groceries, fresh vegetables, fruit, hand cut meats, local lobsters and fish, wines, beers and spirits. Our deli offers hot meals, pizza, hot breakfast sandwiches, and features Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine® Lobster Roll.
Real Finds Consignment Shop began in 2011 as in a small corner of a real estate office displaying a few items with remaining useful life. Unwilling to allow them to be tossed into a dumpster the recycle, reuse, repurpose and redistribution concept took off. We’re now a 600 square foot shop and have moved over 650 items onto new owners and uses. We’re are open Wednesdays and Saturdays in July and August, most Holiday weekends year round or by appointment. Follow us on Facebook for hours and special events.
Right in Tenants Harbor, overlooking Ripleys Creek and next to Granite Gallery is Spruce Tree Studio (at The Metal Shop). A locally Historic building revived into a creative retail space embracing the Metal shops origins, an homage to hand work and trade.

I look forward to seeing you, and am taking names for Fall Punch Needle Workshops.

Al specializes in custom hand carved ship carvings. He custom designs each finished product and enjoys working closely with his clients through the design process. Using only the finest grade wood, along with 23 kt gold leaf and the highest quality paint and finish available, the finished products are of superior quality. His specialty focuses on nautical carvings to include American eagles, quarterboards, and signage often seen adorning sailing vessels from the late 18th to early 19th Century.
What began as a hobby, his interest in woodcarving continues to grow. Many of his pieces have been sold throughout the Country, and have been exhibited at various marine art galleries in New England to include Mystic Seaport and the former Art of the Sea in mid-coast Maine.
Al enjoys carving in his workshops located in Essex, CT and Tenants Harbor, ME.
